well.. another year has come and gone.. that was fast.. i have spent most of this year away from singapore and friends and family.. but i guess i have done lots on my own too.. this year.. i think the greatest change i have within is that i have learnt.. i have learnt to be independent.. i have learnt not to grovel to my family.. i have learnt that it is just a piece of paper.. and that i will reap exactly what i sow.. and most of all.. i have learnt to have no expectations of others..

the end of 2009 also marks the day that i leave behind the last 17 months of my life in australia.. i have throughly enjoyed my time here and australia has indeed been very kind to me.. i have experienced torrential rains, floods, heatwaves, hail and dust storms as well as bush fires.. i have travelled to melbourne, hobart, sydney, whitsundays, sunshine coast, gold coast, and the scenic rim.. i have made friends i know i will keep for a long time to come and i have memories that will never fadee..

thankyou australia for the love and experiences you have given me.. i will miss you very much.. you have been inked in my life..

2010 will be a good year.. even if it isnt.. it will be.. because i will learn to take even more things in my stride and let go of the things that are not worth keeping.. i wish everyone a merry new year and may 2010 be as kind to you as it will be to me.. XD
